ORDER

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Oxnard Union High School District Retiree Health Benefits Trust was called to order by Board Chair Rice at 2:10 p.m., January 9, 2009, in the Oxnard Union High School District Board Room, 309 South K Street, Oxnard, California 93030.

Trustees present:  Jan Henry, Steven Gama, Scott Lee, Vick Holmbom

Trustee absent:  Eric Ortega, vacant seat to be filled by District for Roger Rice

Legal Counsel present:  Anthony Trembley

Legal Counsel absent:  None

Guests present:  Debashis Chowdury, Canterbury Consulting

Canterbury Consulting

Correspondence

1)  Canterbury Consulting passed out information about the trust assets and discussed the market conditions.  There was considerable discussion about the different management companies and asset allocation.

2)    Correspondence items were reviewed including the City National Bank account.

ITEMS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION

1)    Transfer of funds to checking account

2)    Check Custodial fee structure

3)    RFP for change of investment consultant

4)    Actuarial Study

5)    Orientation for new Trustees

6)    Confirmation of checks paid
